How to make an acrylic painting of beautiful bird (White-eared sibia) on brach

Hello friends, I have made a beautiful painting of a bird sitting on a tree branch on a canvas sheet by acrylic paint. Here I provided bird painting easy tutorial and step by step bird painting beginners guidance .

Step 1 - Required Materials

• Canvas sheet or Canvas board To make very low cost canvas sheet click here 
• Acrylic paint (crimson lake 🔴+🟣+⚪=⬤, white⚪, black⚫, dark blue🔵, green🟢, yellow 🟡, orange 🟠, Brown 🟤.
• Gesso Low cost Gesso recipe check here
• Easel or clipboard and tape roll.
• Brush set (different size).
• Colour mixing tray.
• Flow improver and retarder.
• Cotton cloth piece or tissue paper.
• Water in a jug (to wash brush).
• Pencil, eraser.

Step 2 - Basic prepration for painting

• First, take a canvas sheet or board (whatever you have available) and attach it tightly to the easel or clipboard so that it does not slip while painting.
• Here I have used a canvas sheet which has been pasted on clipboard with the help of a tap roll.
• Now take a big flat brush and touch the water with it and spread it on the canvas sheet. Keep in mind that the amount of water should be very less, otherwise there will be a possibility of damaging the canvas sheet.
• Now this is the important thing to get the shiny look in your painting. Using a large flat brush take some amount of gesso and spread it on the canvas sheet. Only one layer is enough.
• Let the gesso dry on the sheet for five minutes. You can leave space around the canvas sheet as a border if you wish, by applying masking tape evenly around it.
• Here I have not made a border around the sheet.

Step 3 - Background making

• Now first of all take blue color in the tray and add a small amount of flow improver or retarder on it and mix it well. Now with the help of a flat brush, apply it in different places on the canvas sheet.
• Keep in mind that it is very important to add retardant to acrylic paint. If the retardant is not mixed, the paint will dry quickly and one color will not be able to blend well with another color.
• Now take a little white color and add retardant to it, with the same flat brush mix it with the blue color on the canvas sheet and spread it evenly over the entire canvas sheet.
• That is, the background you have prepared should look sky blue. As I made in the picture.

Step 4 - Making branches and paint them

• Now with a pencil draw the sketch of the tree branches as shown in the figure.

• Using black colour paint the branches of tree with the help of different size brush.

• Now using green, white, black,and small amount of yellow colour paint the branches randomly ,it will be looks like 3d. Use your sense and see in picture.you can make better than me.

Step 5 - Making sketche of bird and making cherries

• Now again using pencil draw the sketch of the bird sitting on branches as shown in the figure.

• Now make cherries using white and crimson lake colour with the help of cotton ear buds. Make different size of cherries applying high or low low pressure on cotton bud ans also give final finishing to branches again using green, brown , sky-blue, lemon yellow and white colours.you can make some blurry cherries background as i made.

Step 6 - Final finishing (Paint the bird.)

• Fill black colour in the bird as shown in picture below.

• Now Using white , black, yellow, blue and brown colour paint the bird as shown in picture.Use your sense to blend the colours.
