Flowerpot drawing and pencil shading tutorial part -1

Hello friends, here I have provided an easy tutorial of drawing and shading a flowerpot using pencil. If you are interested to make this type of drawing and shading then I hope it will be very useful for you.

Necessary materials -

• Paper
• Pencil
• Sharpner
• Eraser
• Cotton earbuds
• Paper clipboard

First, attach a piece of paper with  clip to the clipboard and sharp the tip of pencil after that follow these steps.

Step - 1 Draw an ellipse

Draw an ellipse (oval shape) horizontally as shown in below image.

Step - 2 Draw slanting lines

Now draw the right slant line by bringing the tip of the pencil from the right top of the oval shape. Draw a left slant line of the same size from the left vertex again in the same manner as shown in image below.

Step - 3 Draw wavy lines

Draw wavy lines towards the bottom end of the slanted lines as shown in the picture below.

Step - 4 Make bottom line 

Now join these wavy lines make a curve line for the bottom of the pot.

Step - 5 Shade the bottom and left side

Now shade the left side of the pot and the bottom of the pot with a pencil.  Use cotton earbuds to make the shading darker and lighter.

Step - 6 Shade the right side

Using the above procedure, shade the right side of the pot as well.

Step - 7 Shade the middle and top

Now first shade the middle part of pot as shown in picture after that draw an oval shape inside previous oval shape at the top and make darken this shape using pencil.

Step - 8 Draw a plant

Now draw sketch of a plant at random with the help of a pencil.Here I have made a sketch of a Dracaena plant, you can make any other plant of your choice.

Step - 9 Shading the plant

Lastly, using pencil and cotton earbuds, shading the plant randomly as shown in the picture.
