How to draw a drawing of cute caterpillar (Tutorial Part -1)

Hello friends,I would like to share a tutorial with you on how to draw a cute caterpillar. With this Caterpillar drawing tutorial, you will gain useful knowledge, learn an interesting sketching technique, and get step-by-step directions.

Required materials -

• Paper
• Pencil
• Sharpner
• Eraser
• Cotton earbuds
• Paper clipboard
• Disc shape object like cork

Put a piece of paper on a clipboard, sharpen the pencil tip, and follow these steps.

Step-1 Make the head

To make the head of the caterpillar, first make a circle out of a disc shaped object such as a bottle cork.

Step-2 Make the body

To make body of caterpillar, draw similar shape circles to cross each other as looks in picture below.

Step-3 Make tail and erase extra details from body

To make the tail, draw a small circle that crosses the last circle of the body and remove all extra lines from the body as shown in the image below. 

Step-4 Make antenna and eyes

To make antenna, draw S shape and it's mirror image above the head of caterpillar and make dot on upper side of these shapes. Now for eyes , draw to small vertical ellipse inside the head of caterpillar as depicted in picture below.

Step-5 Complete the eyes and draw mouth

Draw small vertical ellipses inside the oval shape of the eyes and darken the rest of the space except for these small ellipses.Now draw the shape of the mouth by drawing an arc, the two ends of which are closed by small inclined lines.

Step-6/7 Make Darken the body

Darken the body of caterpillar as shown in picture below.

Step-8 Shade the body

Now shade the body of caterpillar by using cotton earbuds as shown in picture below.

Step-9 Make legs

At last, make legs by drawing small zig zag lines at the bottom of belly.
